Review - The I Believe Bunny
I think bunnies are adorable, so when I recently had the chance to review The I Believe Bunny by Tish Rabe from Thomas Nelson Publishers, I jumped at the chance! I was immediately delighted when I opened the package & saw the size of the book...it is just over 9 inches square...I had expected a much smaller product. The pages are beautifully illustrated & quite thick...they will definitely hold up well when handled by little fingers! I skimmed the story and then set it to the side. Later that night, when things settled down, Walker snuggled up on the sofa with me and we began to read... ...the book is based around Philippians 4:13 - I can do everything through him who gives me strength. I love sharing Biblical truth with Walker through everyday circumstances & reading together is a great opportunity to do so. The I Believe Bunny tells the story of a cute little bunny who must step up to the plate & help a little mouse in his time of need - while Bunny feels inadequate to do so, he calls on God & depends on His strength to help him through. For Walker right now (not quite age 3), it is a sweet story with a wholesome message...but I know that as we continue to read it as he gets older it will open many doors for talking about prayer, dependence & faith in God, helping others (even when it's not convenient), friendship & thankfulness....I get excited just thinking about it! :) I look forward to continuing to read about Bunny to Walker & Cameron & can't wait for the next book in the series to come out!
While I did receive this book free of charge from Thomas Nelson Publishers, my review is 100% my own opinion! Thanks!
